Sjorgren’s Syndrome Case Study

She healed her pain away!

Anna came to us about three months ago in a lot of pain with a diagnosis 6 years previously of Sjorgren’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disease. Her primary symptoms were joint pain in all of her major joints and chronic fatigue which had been getting worse for a year before she came to see us. We led her through the GAPS Diet and 3 months later her pain had gone from 8/10 to 1/10 or 2/10.
Before starting to reintroduce foods, her pain came in little blips so was mostly low at 0-1/10 and her energy increased. During the reintroduction phase, she learned she could eat rice, but not gluten since it brought her symptoms right back. Sugar and dairy weren’t as bad as gluten, but they brought her some pain. So as long as she sticks to her eating plan, she is pretty symptom-free!
